Dead Space plasma cutter toy modded into a deadly laser
When is a collector's toy not a toy anymore? When the toy is a Dead Space Plasma Cutter modded into a deadly weapon with three lasers capable of ripping through balloons and lighting matches.
KipKay is at it again and this time instead of a laser-guided pistachio slingshot, which is still kickass, he's built himself a working Plasma Cutter. With a little bit of elbow grease, KipKay cracked open a Plasma Cutter toy from the collector's edition of Dead Space 2, wired in two blue 1W laser diodes from a DLP projector, a single purple 600mW laser diode from a 12x Blu-ray burner and two micro drivers and voila — created a mini weapon that is not safe for aiming at just about everything.
