World's oldest working TV to sell for over 5,000 pounds

The world's oldest TV is about to be auctioned off in Britain, and it's expected to fetch over 5,000GBP. Do these people realize that it's not even HD?

The TV, manufactured by Marconi way back in 1936, features a puny 12-inch screen in a walnut and mahogany case, and the picture is reflected into a mirror that opens from the top. So yeah, it's not much like any TV anyone owns today.

But as a piece of history, it's pretty neat. It's just not a history I'd want to return to.
