As rapidly as our technology is advancing, it's not completely unrealistic to think that one day we'll be able to simply lay down onto a platform and have our DNA automatically cloned. Such a science fictional contraption is exactly what one British artist had in mind with his latest work.
Dubbed the Clone Chaise, the lounge chair features an elaborate electroluminescent display depicting the vital organs of a person. Using sequencing electronics, the chair lights up and also displays the human nervous system when prompted by touch, a lighting effect that begins to pulse giving the set-up the illusion of life from the inanimate object.
