Traditionally, gaming PCs are big, hulking towers full of loud, powerful gear. But with components getting cheaper and smaller, hulking machines are able to become at least somewhat-portable gaming laptops, like the Alienware m18x.
This beast of a laptop features a gigantic 18.4-inch screen and an insane list of specs: "an Intel Core i7 Extreme chip overclocked to a frag-tastic 4GHz, your choice of AMD CrossFireX or NVIDIA SLI graphics, up to 32GB of DDR3 RAM, a 3D-capable HDMI 1.4 port, WirelessHD for the cable-averse crowd, and five macro-programmable keys wrapped in a otherworldly anodized aluminum shell." Holy moly. There's no word on pricing yet, but you can be sure that a fully tricked out version of this thing will not be cheap.
