Yoga traffic light leads pedestrians through their exercises

Have you ever seen joggers running on the spot while waiting for the light to change? This traffic light concept aims to organize our curbside exercises by leading everyone in some coordinated yoga style moves.

This idea might work in a place like LA where everyone waits for the walk sign, but here in New York we assume that anyone who isn't jaywalking must be a tourist. Besides, having everyone stretching and moving on a crowded corner is likely to cause people to bump and jostle each other.

The light does have some other neat features, like a reminder to look both ways before crossing when you get the walk sign, and a countdown timer telling you much time you have left to cross the road.
