If thin is your number one priority in a laptop, the MacBook Air has long been your favorite. But now Samsung has come along with a new laptop that,s thinner, lighter and, yes, more expensive than Apple's current king of skinniness.

For a whopping $1,649 you can snag Samsung's 13.3-inch Series 9, which is thinner, lighter and faster than Apple's offering. Featuring a Core i5 processor, 4GB of ram and a 128GB SSD drive, it's pretty stacked for something so tiny. Sure, you could get a slightly heftier 13-inch laptop for about a third of the price, but who wants to carry around something that isn't the thinnest?
