Pitchers to soon protect their brains with this futuristic helmet

Pitching in baseball can be a dangerous job. After all, you're throwing a ball to a guy trying to slam it back in your general direction at blazing speeds. So why don't pitchers wear helmets? Well, that may change soon.
This futuristic thing is a concept helmet for pitchers by Easton. It's made from expanded polystyrene, a super-lightweight material designed to absorb energy. This should allow pitchers to not feel like they're wearing a huge, bulky helmet while still getting the protection that wearing one affords.
Easton is hoping to get the helmet to stores this fall.
