Guy hacks his Kinect so it controls the house lighting

I guess someone is already bored with Kinect Joy Ride, because a hacker called Nitrogen has taken his Kinect, and turned it into something to control the lighting in his living room.

What's cool is that he has divided the room into zones, and set it up so that the lighting adjusts automatically for whatever he happens to be doing. It even goes dark when he sits down to watch his home theater projector, and then lights up again to show the way if he gets up for some munchies.

Now if he could only tech it to find something worth watching on TV.
