Watch the final launch of Space Shuttle Discovery live

We near the end of an era with the final launch of the Space Shuttle Discovery set to happen at 4:50pm. And you can watch it live online.

If you want to see the action, head on over to NASA TV. But hurry! The launch is taking place soon. It's scheduled for 4:50pm with a post-launch news conference scheduled for 5:45pm. So go check it out! After that, there are only two more launches in NASA's future (unless, of course, the agency adds more, but that's not looking likely).

UPDATE: Did you miss it? Check out a video of the launch right below.

CORRECTION: This post originally stated that this would be the last shuttle launch. This is not correct — this is the last time NASA is schedule to launch Space Shuttle Discovery, and there are two additional shuttle launches planned in the future.
