This thing was "modeled after a young child that could produce realistic facial expressions in order to endear it to a human caregiver in a more natural way." Sure, if that young child was a soulless monster. But hey, I guess to give them credit, this is certainly more realistic than, say, a Cabbage Patch Kid doll. So they're making progress!
