Sexy Fujifilm X100 costs a fraction of what a Leica does
When we think of gorgeous cameras, we usually think Canon, Nikon, Sony and Leica. Fujifilm making a slick retro camera that oozes of Leica-like rangefinder goodness? That's the FinePix X100.
Unlike most rangefinder cameras, the 12-megapixel FinePix X100 has a 23mm F/2 fixed lens. It's permanently attached to the camera's sensor. No zoom lenses for you buddy.
The camera looks outright sexy with enough ISO (200 - 6400) to shoot in uber low light without using a flash. On the back of the camera you'll find a 480 x 320 resolution LCD and a "hybrid viewfinder" that works as an electronic viewfinder and an optical one — snazzy.
Camera aficionados will be able to pick up the FinePix X100 for $1200 in March. All those lovely switches and dials are making my fingers itch for my wallet.
