For reasons I will never understand, Nickelodeon's Spongebob Squarepants is a huge hit not only with the tots, but with grown adults. It turns out the obnoxious little yellow sponge who lives under the sea is actually a Terminator robot in disguise!

Who would have thought Spongebob was actually a robot mecha driven by tiny Lego mini figurines. Lego Spongebob's only goal is to brainwash children with his goofy laugh through the laser canon in his mouth. I think I like him more knowing he's packing artillery.

Okay, maybe Spongebob isn't really a robot sent from hell, bent on destroying Earthlings, but still thanks to Flickr user, rack911's Lego creation, the appeal of Spongebob kind of makes some sense now — at least to me.
