Is that a motion sensor in your Maglite flashlight?

Yup. That's right, the new shock and waterproof Maglite XL100 is leading the pack for next-gen flashlights with a built-in motion sensor. Simply put, the sensor can be used to control settings on the Maglite such as brightness and more.

To adjust this flashlight's beam of focus, brightness and strobe speed — just rotate it while pressing its tailcap button. With five modes: normal, strobe, nightlight, signal and SOS, playing with the flashlight's 83 lumens of brightness should be plenty amusing.

Flashlight aficionados (believe it or not, there are people who are obsessed with flashlights!) can pick up the Maglite XL100 for about $32.
