One feature that the new Verizon iPhone is getting that isn't available to AT&T customers is the ability to turn the phone into a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to five other devices. But could AT&T be getting that option as well?
Apparently, AT&T is "evaluating" whether or not that makes sense for them. Seeing as how skiddish AT&T is about data on their network these days, if it is added, expect to pay a pretty penny for it. As it stands, it'll cost you $20 to have the option of tethering your laptop to your iPhone on AT&T, with no additional data coming with that price.
