Track your flight on your iPhone, no network connection required

Curious as to where your plane is when you're in the sky? Well, a new iPhone app allows you to track your flight across the country, no network connection or GPS necessary.

So how's it work?

But how does it work without GPS or network connection? The app has a database of flight routes in the continental United States. After entering your departure and arrival points, you choose the flight path and tell the when you are taking off. From that moment, the app will tell you the estimated arrival time, as well as showing your plane in its built-in map and give you information about the points of interest near you.
Pretty neat stuff! The app, called WindowSeat, is coming soon.
