Tron Legacy's lightcycle is a deathtrap waiting to happen if you ever tried to actually ride one in real life. Thankfully, there's something a little less dangerous — the Skatecycle.

Huge Tron fan, Alon Karpman decided to pay tribute to the new geek flick with a cycle of his own. Building off of the Freerider skate cycle, Karpman modded two of the rollers with LED lights and took to the streets of New York City to show them off. The results are pretty rad and will garner looks from bystanders for sure.

Brooklyn Workshop is offering up the Freerider skate cycle for $136 (TRON LEDs not included). If you want that Tron look, you're going to have to find a weekend and get your hands dirty.
