Image of the Day: scientists in panda suits examine bear cubs

To help prepare cubs born in captivity for life in the wild, Chinese researchers are doing something a bit unexpected: donning panda costumes. I know what you're thinking…doesn't the baby panda sense something's afoot? But folks at the Hetaoping Research and Conservation Centre in western China think cubs will be much more likely to adjust to the wild if they are cared for by "pandas" in captivity.
