Independent programmers and developers are doing some wonderful things with Microsoft's Kinect camera. Guess, who else is getting in on the action? Adult-game developers.

Developers, ThriXXX, are planning to capitalize on the craze of Kinect with some good old fashion virtual sex. Using Kinect's sensor to recognize full body gestures, players will be able to pull off suggestive moves with their virtual avatars. Will this be better than real sex? We doubt it. For some, it may be as close as they will get to any action.

Of course, none of ThriXXX's developments are officially sanctioned by Microsoft. The developers are relying on the open source Kinect drivers that are available to get its sex game off the ground.

If all of this sounds just a tad bit ridiculous, then you're not alone — most of us feel the same. American Pie's pie humping still seems like a better solution than this cyber nonsense, but then again we just think Jason Biggs is funny as hell.
