This is what 1,200 Hot Wheels flying around one track look like

Now this is art. It's the Metropolis II installation by Chris Burden at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and it looks amazing.
The fully-automated and gigantic track features 1,200 cars and 13 toy trains zipping around quickly, over and over again. It's pretty hypnotizing! And it's exactly what I would have made when I was seven years old if I also had an engineering degree. Awesome, awesome, awesome.
