Samsung's new tablet screen will have Super AMOLED

Samsung is preparing a new screen for its Galaxy Tab tablet. The new screen retains the Galaxy Tab's 7-inch size, but replaces its LCD with a Super AMOLED screen. Get ready for colors that will pop right off the screen.
The new screen will have a WXVGA or 1200 x 600 pixel resolution which is slightly higher than what is inside of the regular Galaxy Tab right now. Some advantages Super AMOLED has over regular TFT LCDS are a brighter screen, sharper colors, wider viewing angles and of course thinner size.
We really dig the Super AMOLED screen on Samsung's Galaxy S smartphone. While Samsung hasn't said anything about pixel density, we hope its as good as Apple's Retina Display.
