Clunky wristband provides emergency power for your gadgets

Don't you hate it when one of your gadgets starts running low on juice when you're hours from the next recharging opportunity? Well here's a way to always have an extra boost on hand, so you won't be left gadgetless.

The Orca PowerStrap is essentially a battery bracelet that lets you store a bunch of extra power on your wrist. A USB power port lets you connect it to a wide range of gadgets, while four LED indicators let you know how much battery capacity is left.

The whole thing is kind of clunky looking, but think about how it could really get you out of a jam if your phone dies at the airport, or your iPod poops out just as you head out on that eight hour flight to Europe. It sure looks a lot easier than grinding away on one of those hand crank chargers.

The Orca PowerStrip is available now for about 40 UK Pounds (about $64).
