We love how square Apple's bold new Nano is, but how did the company come up with the design? Turns out it could have been a lot easier than we thought.
All you do is take the previous generations iPod Nano, cut it in half and — voilà! — you've got your new Nano and Shuffle.
It's a cheeky image, but it's so clever you have to wonder if this isn't really how it happened when a bleary-eyed engineer was staring down at an old Nano one night.
