Complete insanity: free climbing a 1,768-foot-tall broadcast tower

Broadcast towers are very important. They transmit our precious data, after all. But you know, someone needs to keep these incredibly tall structures working properly. And those people are totally insane.

This video shows a technician free climbing a 1,768-foot-tall broadcast tower. Yes, free climbing means without a safety harness. And for reference, the new skyscraper they're building at the World Trade Center site in NYC, which is to be the tallest building in the city, will be 1,776-feet-tall.

Honestly, if you can make it through this video without your palms breaking into a cold sweat, you're a stronger person than I.
