Homemade portable Dreamcast looks good enough to be in stores

The ill-fated Sega Dreamcast still holds a place in a lot of gamers hearts. Sure, it ended up failing not too long after it got to the market, but the games that were released for it were some classics. And now a modder who goes by Techknott has created a way to play them on the go.

This seriously polished portable holds discs on the back, features a color screen yanked out of a PSone and has all of the original Dreamcast controls. It has a built in VMU (the little units with screens that clipped into the controllers) as well as a second slot for another one. It even has A/V out jacks so you can plug it into your TV and play it at home.

The downside? It's one-of-a-kind, so you can't go grab one at Best Buy. Which is a shame, because something tells me there's a bigger market for something this beautiful than people might think.
