Skyscraper lights up to show tomorrow's weather across 6,000 windows

Why check your smartphone for the weather when you can look at 6,000 windows lit up with 72,000 LEDs? If you're anywhere near the Dexia Tower in Brussels, a glance at its various colors immediately lets you know what the weather will be like the next day.

This relatively cost-efficient installation uses a dozen LEDs at each window, and the way the light reflects off the closed windowshades gives it a bright yet pleasingly gradated appearance.

It's quite arty looking, and as soon as local residents learn the code (that still remains a mystery to us), they'll be able to tell just by looking at this building what the temperature, humidity, wind speed and precipitation will be tomorrow.
