3 pieces of luggage from the future
Right now, our luggage does little more than store stuff. Fair enough, right? But maybe we figure out a way to store stuff better, and just maybe we could even make our luggage do a little more. Mexico's Alberto Villareal certainly thinks so, and he's taken a stab at rethinking three pieces of luggage.
First up, Villareal's "SURFN" is shaped like a carry-on, but has a flip-down section that turns it into something more like a dolly. You could tote more bags stacked up one atop the other in this way, rather than having to juggle them all as you try to weave through crowds at an airport.
There's also the "RIDN," a sizable suitcase with a seat up top perfect for resting weary bums, and the "STROLLN," which mixes a carry-on with a stroller. Just, y'know, don't accidentally check your kid.
