MIT finds the pefect computer mouse: your hand

After the talking-to-yourself antics inspired by Bluetooth earpieces, the next tech innovation sure to make you look crazy is the Mouseless, the first truly invisible computer mouse.

Created by Pranav Mistry at the MIT Media Lab, the construct uses an infrared laser beam and an infrared camera to capture your hand movements and accurately translate them into computer commands. While no plans are in the offing to bring this system to market soon, Mistry claims you can easily build your own for as little as $20. You can see video of the Mouseless in action here.
