The poor iPhone. For whatever reason, it's just a blast to watch it get destroyed. (Case in point: will it blend?) Up above, though, you'll see one of the most impressive ways to do away with the handheld yet: a homemade "death ray." Someone took what looks like an older model of the iPhone and subjected it to a 65-inch Fresnel lens and then let the sun do the rest.

The result? Well, let's just say that the iPhone knows how an ant under a magnifying glass feels now.
