Netflix for the iPhone works with 3G, and AT&T's hoping you'll use it ... a LOT

Netflix CEO Reed Hastings took the stage at the Apple keynote at the WWDC 2010 this morning, announcing a new iPhone version of the Netflix application. Netflix on the iPad's been a huge success, in fact, it's the number one download for entertainment applications. Now it'll be on the iPhone "this summer."

One of the coolest things about it is the way it will sync with your iPad, so if you stop watching a movie on the iPad, you can resume that on the iPhone. And it'll work with the 3G service on the iPhone. The catch? Now with AT&T's metered usage, this'll give you one more reason to be careful not to go over your limit. That is, unless you're on the unlimited plan.

More iPhone news on the way, so stay tuned!
