The iPhone 4 has officially sold out according to Apple and AT&T, making for what the latter called the "busiest online sales day in AT&T history." That means that if you want an iPhone 4 you're going to have to wait until July 2 as opposed to June 24. Well, unless you're willing to get a little brave.
How brave? Brave enough to head over to an Apple or AT&T retail location on the day and date of the release and try to score one of the very limited number of phones being sold in-store. There will also be iPhone 4s available from Best Buy, Radio Shack and Wal-Mart on June 24 as well.
Question: Does AT&T celebrating its "busiest online sales day" mean those of us hoping for an AT&T-free iPhone will have to wait longer? You better believe the company will try to hold on to it as long as possible. That is, unless all of the technical issues that hindered the preorders didn't sour the experience. How did they not see the increased demand coming?
