Adobe Flash: Who needs it? You do, if you want to play Adverputt. It's a Flash-authored game that's so much fun, you'll forget that you're being advertised to. Created by the whimsically named Damp Gnat, it incorporates a different advertiser's graphics into each putt-putt hole.
It's packed with realistic physics, fun sound effects, and it even gives you a little scorecard at the end of each hole. Oh, and by the way, the advertiser gets to put in a little ad plug at the end of each hole too, but it's not anything obtrusive.
It feels and sounds like a little plastic executive toy, demonstrating to us why we still need Flash. Try that on HTML 5 on a iPad. It's not going to work there, but you can buy a game like this at its App Store for $1.99.
