Roku's Netflix interface drastically improved

We're big fans of Roku, that cheap little box that lets you stream Netflix movies, and its Netflix interface will be a whole lot better starting next month. You can almost get away without accessing your Netflix account on a computer altogether with its new capabilities. You can search the entire Watch Instantly library from your TV screen — well, if you can bear the tedious text entry. It lets you add movies and TV to your instant queue as well.

The only thing lacking in this much more attractive interface is good movies. But then, that's not the fault of Netflix or Roku — it's the stingy movie studios holding out on us. Someday that will all change. If you could add a small keyboard and stream its video over fatter broadband, this Roku box might someday be the ideal way to watch every movie ever produced.
