Technology innovators have yet another reason to fear launching within China's bootleg and clone invested streets with the debut of Zenithink's entry into the iPad clone wars. Hoping to attract Chinese manufacturers looking to deploy an iPad-like solution, Zenithink cooked up an iPad clone that looks remarkably similar to the original, but the device uses the Android 2.1 mobile operating system.
Running on a 1 gigahertz ARM Cortex-A8 processor, the clone comes in 7-inch and 10-inch models, the latter featuring a 1024 by 600 display, 512M RAM, and 16 gigabytes of flash memory. No pricing has been announced, but the company hopes to see the product hit the market in June.
