In concert with this year's 30th anniversary of the Gundam robot anime franchise, Bandai has teamed up with Softbank to release a commemorative phone called the Gunpla (or Softbank 945SH G). Decorated with the iconic Gundam-style flair, the phone comes bundled with a model of the Gundam robot included as a kind of docking station and battery charger.

Aside from the cool aesthetics, the phone can also shoot HD video, and will come pre-installed with exclusive Gundam content such as custom menu screens and ringtones. Pricing has not been announced, but the phone is due for commercial release in September.
