Finally, a futuristic watch you can read without doing math
We see all kinds of futuristic looking watches here at Dvice, but most are incredibly difficult to read. No so with Tokyoflash's Gridlock watch, which looks like a bunch of gobbledygook at first. but is actually quite easy to read.
The readout is divided into two parts, the circle on the left which shows the hour just like on a regular analog watch, and the matrix on the right which is split vertically into two halves to show the minutes. The lack of a vertical divide between the two minute digits makes it look like a big block of random dots until you know the trick.
Tokyoflash has history of turning amazing concept watches like this into actual products you can buy, and hopefully the Gridlock will join that list.
