The company formally released stable builds of Chrome for Mac and Linux, removing any doubt those users can safely enjoy the bountiful benefits of the world's best browser. Opera, schmopera.

So now's a good time to give it a try, Mac and Linux users. Might we suggest digging into your choice of the 4500 extensions already built for Chrome, or enjoy the advanced syncing of bookmarks, preferences and settings? Sure beats the hell out of Safari.
