Sensory Wristwatch: The coolest medical bracelet ever made

Until our iPhones are graced with a real, working "Star Trek" tricorder apps, the Sensory Watch may be the next best thing. Developed by researchers at the Fraunhofer Institute the device monitors bio-indicators early on in an effort to prevent illness.

The watch will warn the wearer of issues such dehydration, a dangerously high body temperature, or high blood sugar levels in the case of a diabetic person. The lab-on-a-chip device will be customized depending on the wearer's needs. At present this mechanism is still in the laboratory stage, but before long you can expect to see these on your favorite athletes in training, as well as on your grandparents.
