No, hackers haven't taken over this site. Or Twitter. But, yes, pictures of Carmen Electra will be on our Twitter feed in a few hours. This is all thanks to Norelco, who's blatantly sexing up its donation of $75,000 to the Arbor Day Foundation with a Carmen-featured event today at Madison Square Park in New York City. From the company:
Norelco, in celebration of National Arbor Day, is partnering with the Arbor Day Foundation. Starting Friday through June 30, 2010, Norelco will commit to a donation of $75,000 - planting a minimum of one tree for every Philips Norelco Bodygroom product sold, up to 75,000 trees. The campaign is known as "Deforest Yourself. Reforest the World." On Friday, Carmen Electra will be shaving a selected number of guys in person at Madison Square Park. We'll also give away free product to 100 men who show up as well.
A strained connection, surely, but good enough reason to crash the event and post the pics on Twitter, we say. Check 'em out this afternoon.
UPDATE: OK, we're giving away the Norelco Pro Bodygroom shaver we got at the event. You have until 12:01 a.m. tomorrow to follow us on Twitter and win by retweeting (look for the instructions in our Twitter feed). Good luck!
