The Newton bookshelf is really just a repurposed and slightly modified clamp, one hung upside-down from the wall and cranked to fit books inside.
While it looks pretty awesome, I've got a couple issues with this thing. First, isn't form supposed to follow function? Because this is perhaps the least functional "bookshelf" that I've ever seen. I mean, it looks like it'll warp and ruin any books you put inside. And what if you want to, you know, pull one out to read it? The rest will fall and you'll need to recrank it to get them all back in.
I'll stick to my boring-yet-functional traditional bookshelves, thanks.
