RIM finally enters the 21st century with its upcoming BlackBerry 6 operating system, and here's a sneak peek. Whether it's cutting-edge or not, 10.5 million BlackBerrys sold in the last three months, so lots of people will undoubtedly welcome such an update — it's a total redesign of the oh-so-dated BlackBerry interface.
This is great, but honestly, RIM, why so slow? The company rolled out two new smartphones yesterday (the Bold 9650 and the Pearl 3G), and we passed on writing about them because there was only one or two minor feature improvements. Anyway, the company's at least putting forth an effort, launching BlackBerry 6 sometime in "the next calendar quarter."
