Homemade Russian snowmobile makes Todd Palin look like a sissy

In the coldest parts of Russia, where getting around on snow is a way of life, they don't use normal snowmobiles. No, they make insane, gigantic snow vehicles that look straight out of some wintertime apocalypse movie. And they are awesome.
This custom-built vehicle is made entirely from scrap and is powered by an old Yamaha motorcycle engine. The whole thing is super light, allowing it to scoot over loosely-packed snow. Sure, there's no room for the wife and kids on board, but if you're just scooting to the store for a case of vodka, this'll work just fine.
