We recently told you Nintendo has plans to bring out the "3DS," a 3D version of its DS handheld gaming system. Alongside the announcement was the wonder of what it might look like. Nintendo hasn't released any official images, though computer artist Olivier Demangel has taken a stab at it, creating the image you see above (and in the gallery below).

Demangel's DS is distinct from the current models as, when it closes, it isn't a seal clamshell. Rather, the buttons still poke out around the closed screen, where your average DS covers up completely.
