Lighting designers can't wait to roll out their latest ideas featuring OLED lighting, and here's German designer Ingo Maurer getting into the act with his Double-C Future OLED chandelier.

He's going native with this nine-panel pendant lamp, suspending OLED panels that are completely unadorned, just so we can revel in their raw design resembling a space station in a sci-fi movie.

There's no price attached to this futuristic illuminaire yet, but let's let the artist show off his design chops during Design Week in Milan for now, hoping to see super energy-efficient lighting like this everywhere within a few years.
