Boy Scouts video game badge really stretches definition of outdoors

Ah, the Boy Scouts. Teaching young men how to do important tasks such as tying knots, setting up tents and… playing video games? Apparently!

Yes, there's a new badge for video gaming at the Boy Scouts. How do you get it? Well, you need to talk to your parents about which video games are appropriate for your age group. Then you need to buy said video games, and play them. Somehow I think that most scouts these days can just get this without having to do anything else.

I look forward to upcoming badges, which include the Facebook badge, the getting-around-your-parents'-passwords badge, and the texting badge. Welcome to the 21st Century, Boy Scouts.
