The details on the Xbox 360's new USB-storage-lovin' ways

It was rumored last week, and now it's official: the Xbox 360 will start accepting USB storage starting on April 6. You'll be able to use any drive up to 16GB in size, provided you allow the Xbox 360 to format it first, and it'll be able to hold everything from game saves to demos to videos.

A new file transfer utility will make moving data from your Xbox's hard drive to a USB drive and vice versa nice and easy, too. And look for an Xbox-branded drive from SanDisk in May aimed at Xbox owners.
