Japanese fashion designer knits using cables

Japanese fashion designer Kosuke Tsumura has experience knitting with wool and traditional fabrics, sure. But for the "MODE less CODE" exhibition at the Nanzuka gallery in Shirokane, Tokyo, he chose to use a stranger material: cables.

Yep, he knitted huge sculptures out of cables ranging from power strips to iPod cables to ethernet cables. They probably wouldn't keep you warm and comfortable if you tried to lie underneath them, but I guess that's not really the point, is it? Art!
