Comploo house uses waste to create the ultimate green home

Japan-based design firm Bakoko have a proven knack for turning old, demolition-ready living structures into a futurist's dream, and now the firm has taken that ethos of reinvention a bit more literally. The Comploo house is designed to accept compost waste within its very structure to warm up the structure during the colder months.

The circular, UFO-like structure could easily be at home in any post-apocalyptic sci-fi movie. The design firm has yet to set a price on the prototype structure, but you can see more of the Comploo's design workings here.
