2010 is looking like the year of 3D. With 3D HDTVs looking to be the biggest product looming at CES, now content companies are scrambling to come up with stuff to watch on these fancy new doodads.
Discovery, IMAX and Sony have just announced that they're joining forces on a new 3D TV channel that's set to launch in 2011. It'll showcase entertainment, nature and sports programming. This announcement comes right on the heels of ESPN announcing their own 3D channels, so it looks like this tech is here to stay, for better or worse. I hope you like wearing 3D glasses!
