Connect this Aperion Home Audio Link (HAL) to a PC, MP3 player or cellphone, and then you can broadcast streaming audio to three other Aperion receivers anywhere in your house. Hook up those wireless doohickeys to an audio player, and fill the air with sweet, sweet music. The company says the audio transmission is uncompressed, giving you ubiquitous tunes over the 2.4GHz band (not Wi-Fi) with no more pesky wires.

Aiming to please, the company also will be offering a line of subwoofers with USB ports and a built-in Aperion HAL receiver. In the meantime, the starter system of transmitter and receiver will cost you $149, and additional receivers are $70, both shipping on January 28th.
