Google gears up for real-time search engine results

You'll soon see a new box accompanying your Google searches that scrolls a feed of news, blogs, sites and more in real-time. If you searched for "clowns," for instance, you'd see a box that says "Latest results for clowns," and have updates fed to you that are seconds old. I've been sitting here just watching the feed update for a while and, I have to say, it's rather mesmerizing.

You can try it for yourself by going to Google Trends and clicking on one of the hot topics, or check out the short video demo above, courtesy of TechCrunch. It really only shows you how the articles get bumped as a new one appears, but that you go.
